I began filming weddings almost 20 years ago. This is a shot from one of my earlier wedding videos, filmed in 720p. You will see a significant difference in the quality of film from then to now in the Recent Work section, below.
Tape Digitization
My other major service is videotape digitization. Take your old home movies from their VHS and camcorder tapes, and make sure that they are preserved in a digital format for decades to come.

My name is David Eckert. I was born in Sudbury and have lived here my entire life. My name is David Eckert. I was born in Sudbury and have lived here my entire life. I have been operating EB Films since 2005, when I was awarded a grant by FedNor at the FedNor Business Challenge 2005. Since then, I have worked with a diverse array of clientele, including small businesses, non-profit organizations such as Sudbury Pride and the Sudbury Blueberry Festival, and individuals in the Sudbury area. I have a particular interest in weddings during the summer months. I have always had a passion for video. When I was a child, I often had dreams of being the next Spielberg. In high school, I took a business course, which led to the aforementioned FedNor Business Challenge for youth entrepreneurs. After winning my grant, my business was able to take off for real. I have now been film making for almost 18 years, with a specific focus on making movies that celebrate the important memories of the people of Sudbury and Northern Ontario.
